Since I was young, I dreamed of being a radio play-by-play guy. I grew up listening to Gary Hahn (NC State), Woody Durham, (UNC), and Bob Harris (Duke). I've gotten that opportunity since 2000 and look to continue wherever that may be.

My name is Chris Hooks and I am a professional broadcaster. I've been in and around the business since I started college in 2000 and have loved every minute of it. I've learned all the ins and outs of the day-to-day operations of working in an athletics department and over the years, steadily improved upon all of my skills from calling the game to editing highlights, both video and audio.

I have a huge passion for the business and love working in college athletics. Seeing these young men and women develop into successful graduates is one of the great things about working at a college or university.
